If you have a brick-and-mortar store, you can show an option to customers creating a registry that allows them to specify whether they'd like to have their registry purchases shipped, or picked up in-store.
To set up this setting, go to Preferences ->Settings->Registry Settings and scroll down to Store Pickup.
To enable this feature, you will need to click the "Authorize button" to authorize Gift Reggie to create a 0$ shipping option at checkout. You will be redirected to Shopify, where you must click "Update App" after reviewing the new permissions.
After authorizing, you can select "Allow store pickup" which you can select if you want the registrant to decide if they want store pickup or select "Force Store pickup" which you can select if all registries should have a pickup option selected
The pickup options automatically provide an option to customers in the checkout who enter your store address as the shipping address with a 0$ option. Please note that Shopify restricts this functionality to specific plans that allow access to the Carrier Service API.
Allow in-store pickup does not actually choose the checkout option ‘pickup’. Unfortunately, we are unable to do that as Shopify controls the checkout process. Instead, it just changed the address in the checkout to the store address. This has to be combined with the Carrier Service API setting for them to have this sent with free shipping.
You can give a name to the pickup option by selecting the check box above "Store Pickup Option Name" and add a name in the text area
