Uninstalling Gift Reggie App

In order to fully uninstall Gift Reggie from your store you'll need to do the following:

  1. Remove any references to the GiftReggie assets from your theme
  2. Uninstall the Gift Reggie assets from your theme
  3. Remove any Gift Reggie links you've added to your shop's navigation

Remove any references to the GiftReggie assets from your theme

This involves removing any references you've added manually to your theme's code. The following is a non-exhaustive list of asset references to consider:

  1. {% section 'product-giftreggie' %}
  2. {% render 'snippet-giftreggie-checkout-button' %}
  3. {% render 'snippet-giftreggie-langify-integration.liquid' %}

Uninstall the GiftReggie assets from your theme

Select the theme you'd like to remove the assets from below and click the button(available in App) to remove them

Warning: If you uninstall the assets from your theme without first removing references to them your theme may exhibit unexpected behavior.

Remove any GiftReggie links you've added to your shop's navigation

Warning: If you have added links directly to your theme you'll need to find and remove those too.

  1. Log in to your Shopify store administrative panel and navigate to your Navigation section.
  2. Click the button labeled Delete next to any of the GiftReggie links in your menu.
