Customer Account UI Extension

This Customer Account UI Extension allows you to add "Manage Registry" and "View My Wishlist" buttons to the new customer account pages (Orders page and Profile page). This lets users easily view and manage their registry and/or wishlist.

To enable this:

  1. Go to Customize View of your theme.
  2. Select Checkouts and Customer Accounts.
  3. Choose Orders or Profile from the dropdown menu.
  4. Add an App Block and select the Customer Account Extension.

YOU CAN ADD THE EXTENSION IN THE SAME WAY ON THE PROFLE PAGE AS WELL

1. Show Manage Registry Button

Toggle this option to show or hide the "Manage Registry" option for users, allowing users to access and manage their registries directly.

  • Options:

    • True: Enables the display of the "Manage Registry" button.
    • False: Disables the display of the "Manage Registry" button.

2. Show Manage Registry as a Button or Link

This setting allows you to choose how the "Manage Registry" option appears to users. By default, it will appear as a button.

  • Options:

    • Select whether the "Manage Registry" option appears as a clickable Button or a simple Link.

3. Show My Wishlist Button

Toggle this option to show or hide the 'My Wishlist' button, allowing users to view and manage their wishlist.

  • Options:

    • True: Enables the display of the "My Wishlist" button.
    • False: Disables the display of the "My Wishlist" button.

4. Show Manage Wishlist as a Button or Link

This setting allows you to choose how the "My Wishlist" option appears to users. By default, it will appear as a button.

    • Select whether the "My Wishlist" option appears as a clickable Button or a Link.

5. Change Text for Manage Gift Registry and My Wishlist Button

To customize the text on the "My Wishlist" or "Manage Gift Registry" button, use the following format:

language_code: Your Text
  • language_code: The language code for the desired language (e.g., "en" for English, "fr" for French).
  • Your Text: The new text you want to display on the button.

Example 1: Single Language Store

If your store only uses one language and you want to change the default text, simply enter the text for that language.

For example, if you want to change the "Manage Gift Registry" button text to French:

  • fr:Gérer le registre de cadeaux

For example, if you want to change the "My Wishlist" button text to French:

  • fr: Ma wishlist en français

Example 2: Multiple Language Store

If your store supports multiple languages, you can provide a translation for each language by separating them with a semicolon.

language_code: Your Text; second_language_code:Your Text

For example, if you want to add translations for the "Manage Gift Registry" button

  • en: Manage Birth List; fr:Gérer le registre de cadeaux; nl:Beheer het cadeauregister

For example, if you want to add translations for the "My Wishlist" button

  • en: My wishlist; fr: Ma wishlist en français; nl:Mijn verlanglijst
